I am getting sick and fucking tired of short-staffing at my job. It's getting to the point where if someone calls in sick (like from a stress overload) it totally fucks up the entire day. The guy at the front calls in sick, I have to cover his ass and nothing gets done in the back. It's fucking horseshit that a business would do that. Oh, and a customer bitches at you because there aren't enough cashiers. One of these days I will tell him the truth and say that we are short-staffed because my company sees labor as a cost that needs to be cut. That is total pigshit that a business would build itself around an ideal of worker burnout. Oh, and that burnout manifests itself as a bunch of "oh, I don't know" or "I don't care" but with a series of grunts and disapprovals.
I fucking hate managers that don't know shit, it's gotten to the point where I won't talk to a couple of them because they are more retarded than a bag of fucking hammers. Don't you just love a workplace where the day's outcome is determined by the manager's mood that day?
That last sentence was sarcasm, the rest of this entry was not.
